Event Setup

Event Setup

Plan competitions with rounds, teams, and tee times for your society.

Creating an Event

Event name

Give the event a clear name so members recognize it on invites, schedules, and leaderboards.

Single vs multi-day

Choose one day for most competitions or set multiple days to cover multi-round events.

Season assignment

Assign the event to the season you want it to count toward for standings.

Competition Types

Strokeplay

Total strokes across the round(s) decide the results.

Stableford

Scores convert to points per hole, then total points decide the results.

Matchplay

Results are decided hole by hole rather than total strokes.

Participation Modes

Singles

Individual scoring only with personal leaderboards.

Team

Team scoring only, useful for Ryder Cup style events.

Both

Run individual and team leaderboards together.

Setting Up Rounds

Number of rounds

Pick how many rounds you want to run for this event.

Course and tee selection

Select the course and tees for each round so scoring is ready on the day.

Date and tee time

Set the round date and first tee time to align with your schedule.

RSVP & Capacity

Setting capacity

Set capacity to limit RSVPs and keep tee times manageable.

Players per group

Choose how many players you want in each tee time group.

RSVP window

Set open and close dates so members know when to respond.

Team Setup

Team names and colors

Set team names and colors so scoreboards are easy to read.

Roster assignment

Assign members to teams before tee times are published.

Groups & Tee Times

Creating groups

Create groups to represent each tee time slot.

Assigning players

Place RSVP'd members into groups so they know their time and playing partners.

Auto-round creation

Rounds are created from the event template once players are assigned.
