Season Setup
Create seasons to organize your events and track standings over time.
What is a Season?
Defining time periods
Seasons define the time window that groups events and tracks standings.
One active season
Only one season can be active at a time, and dates cannot overlap.
Creating a Season
Season name
Use a clear name like “2026 Season” or “Spring Championship.”
Start and end dates
Choose the date range that covers the events you want included.
Overall trophy
Enable the overall trophy to show cumulative standings across events.
Season Overlap Rules
No overlapping seasons
The system blocks overlapping date ranges to keep standings clean.
Planning ahead
Plan seasons early so events can be created against the right window.
Standings & Results
Event results
Events inside the season contribute to the season standings.
Season leaderboard
View the season leaderboard to see cumulative results.
Points are position-based
Season points are awarded by finishing position, not by raw Stableford points scored.
Why not Stableford totals?
Position-based points keep seasons fair across different formats, courses, and handicaps. Stableford totals can inflate or penalize players depending on course difficulty and handicap differences, while position points reward performance relative to the field and keep standings consistent event to event.
Archiving Seasons
Soft archive
Archiving hides a season from active lists while preserving data.
Restoring a season
Unarchive a season if you need to view or edit it again.
